Hello, when I write a description for a directory or file, the special characters, such as Japanese characters, are only converted to question marks. This way, all these comments are not shown when reopening. The file descript.ion is still saved in UTF-8.

Ah, I see. The problem is, that many of my pictures have a comment like "Intel(R) JPEG Library, version [1.51.12.44]". So first would have to remove those comments to see description. Not optimal for me.

But comment is different, it changes the file. I'm using descript.ion files and so need the descript field in list view.

Hello, I want to see the description from descript.ion in list view, but I can't find the right column. I tried to activate all, but it wasn't there. Is there a different way?

Yes, but those informations aren't interesting for me. Those only slows down (eg in networks) and I want to use those informations in the the browser (detailed view) as a bookmark. They can show me in directories with lots of pictures, which pictures I have seen, when those meta data are only be ...

No problem. Those functions could then be disabled. And detailed view column could be empty. Thats how I wanted it.

Cant see any difference with the beta.
Its still in Viewer <> Fullscreen mode. Not in Fullscreen <> Browser mode.
