ideally i would see the XMP label with the thumbnail, but any other possibility to be able to sort files by {XMP: Label} will do as well.

but i need to sort by XMP Label! (not by the label that is seen in the first tab "properties" of the info area and displayed at the top of thumbnails)

yes, i would like to show the color label, that i have applied in lightroom before export (which is stored in the XMP value "Label").

i tried adding a custom line to image information (custom 3: {XMP:Label}), but it doesn't work. it shows "{XMP:Label}" instead of the Label value.

you see that in bridge the image has a red color label. this information is stored in the xmp under the value "label".
now i would like xnview to automatically show a red color label for the image (like the image that i labeled from within xnview)

i export thousands of images from lightroom as tiffs into one single folder. the images are color labeled and need to be sorted in folders depending on color label. i can do that with bridge, but it takes a long time for bridge to read the metadata and show the color labels. so i thought it ...
