True, the firmware I got is not yet public as it was a special build just to fix my problem.
Axis has an excellent support. Just like this forum

Great tip, and thanks again for your excellent help on this matter. It really bugged me. With your findings and deep information I was able to provide Axis with enough analytic data which again had them do a updated firmware to my camera. Now with the new firmware the jpeg problem is gone ...

I have an ongoing support case with the camera manufacturer Axis so your JPEGsnoop findings are of most valuable information.
The Ignore read errors option worked great; for now, thanks for the tip. Let me hope Axis soon can sort out the reason for this jpeg error ...
