Why I use "base path"? I don't really know, how should I configure it according to you?

Euh... No, not really.
Most of my photos are on an external Thunderbolt SSD drive.
I see that the catalog size is 3.59 Gb.

I also changed the Thumbnails settings, see the screenshot.

Not sure where to post my issue so I'll post it here for now.
I'm using XnView MP 1.7.2 on macOS BigSur 11.7.10 and I have an issue with the Thumb's db!
I have quite a lot of photos on my drive and the Thumb.db is 738MB but grows every time I open a directory which is normal when it's a new ...
