Re: Alpha showing through on PSD
Do you have an image with alpha channel which I could test on M1 Mac?
We would then know if it is PS which fails to save image correctly, or "View" -> "Use alpha channel" is broken.

Also if I remove Alpha externally through PS, or through XnView ( Image > Remove alpha Channel ) then Preview works fine.
How did you manage to find the PS error? Was it through ExifTool, or did it appear in PS directly? I struggle to find this error.

Change thumbnail background color according to the label color

Currently background gets different color depending on what format it is (Color based on file format) which is great. Although if user labels an image "Red/Important", background doesn't change. an image only gets a tiny red dot to indicate that image was labeled. The small dot makes it ...

Re: PSD files don't always display in Preview?
Any update on this?
Update:
For me both XnConvert 1.96 and XNViewMP would not show Previews on PSDs with Smart Object Layers. Installing XnShell seems to have fixed it. All my previews are back!

1.85.1 Add mask.. doesnt stick to the Script
Bug or a feature?
When creating a new action "Add mask..." > Select Mask > "Save Script As...".
The next time when you Select the predefined Script/Preset, previously selected mask is not being selected .
Although it stays in the path. Which means I always have to go and reapply the mask ...

Re: XnConvert [1.82+]: Alpha channel problems
Change Color Depth is broken in 1.85.1.
But for my intended use, I managed to delete Alpha Channel by:
1. Create a full white image in any image editor and save it as GIF in XnConvert Mask directory:
On Mac: /Users/XXXXX/Desktop/ XnConvert.app/Contents/Resources/AddOn/Masks/white .gif
