I updated the software and it works now. Only problem is my cr3 files don't change for my vertical shots. So as I am culling I have to tilt my head. Any tips?

I can not rate my CR3 files when I am in preview mode. The rating appears but once I back out of it, they disappear. Also my photos do not change if taken vertically. Any help on this would be appreciated.
