Yes, I'm running Windows XP, Version 2002, Service pack 2. If I select a non-graphics file and double-click it or if I right mouse-click and select 'open', nothing happens. The only way I can get a hex preview is if I select tools->'view in hex mode'.
If you click on it only, do you have the hex ...

Then you can do whatever you want -- change directories, select a different graphic, open it, save it under a new name -- whatever. But when you exit the ...

Pierre,

That solved the problem! I don't know what files were causing the problem, but when I changed directories it worked fine. Thanks for your help!

Pierre,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of the office for a while. It seems to happen for all options (not just "Use all formats available"). I haven't tried them all, but I've tried several. The bottom line is that XnView abends when I try to exit the program if one of the options has ...

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem. If I go to tools->options->general and select the "Use All Formats" option, XnView will crash when you exit the program. Also the change to the Options is gone when I restart the program, so it appears that the change is not being saved. In fact it seems that it ...
