What is the next step? How is it crashing Ghostscript and should your program safeguard against this? This is one reason I have used v1.74 of XnView all these years because it doesn't have these kind of issues. I was hoping to step up to a more modern version and this version is faster than previous ...

I am having the same problem. I have windows set to use the program as my default picture viewer. When I open a e.g., png file, it doesn't crash immediately (just a few seconds later) so maybe it is sending the crash reports - I don't know. The directory is close to 2000 items, all types - pngs ...
