Re: 1.5.5: No video thumbnails in macOS
you need to remove it from your xnview.ini
This is perfect, I just manually set it to `false` and now I can see the thumbnails:

Also, I have checked that in both cases (whether useInternalVideoPlayer is true/false) a double-click opens video in the XnView ...

Re: 1.5.5: No video thumbnails in macOS
It might have been my attempt to launch system player on double-click. But frankly I don't remember setting that. I tried to find that option to toggle, but could not find it in preferences. could you please tell me where it is?

Re: 1.5.5: No video thumbnails in macOS
I then restarted the app. Catalog error is now gone, but thumbnails are still not showing. I went to Browser->Catalog and rebuild the thumbnails. Still the same issue. Please advise. Thank you.
What do you have in Settings>File list>Custom filter?

Re: 1.5.5: No video thumbnails in macOS
By default it's not custom but User, please change it
I am sorry, I must have forgotten that I've changed it - I now recall after checking custom folder. Changed it back to User, now it looks like this:

Re: 1.5.4 Barely any video thumbnails
This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
I was very happy when I saw a video thumbnails fix in 1.5.5, but when I updated, I still don't see thumbnails for any of my MOV videos in macOS 13.5.1. Please let me know if you want me to create ...

Re: Trackpad pinch zoom support for Mac
I second that. It's very much missed. I just recently switched to XnView from Photos app, so trying to see if it fits me. The functionality is truly exceptional, but missing powerful trackpad support for sure at the moment... Thank you.

Re: Video (mov) upside down and stuttering
It's a longstanding problem with HEVC format movies taken in portrait mode on you phone that Pierre doesn't seem able to fix, other than suggesting you use a codec pack.
Could you please elaborate on that codec pack usage suggestion? Is it relevant to macOS as well?
As for the orientation issue ...

Re: Wrong video orientation
by using useInternalVideoPlayer=false
Thanks, that did the trick for me, although all my thumbnails for all the videos disappeared after that, leaving only file icon:

Re: Latest version for macOS Sierra (10.12)?
I've tried different versions one by one from the old versions link (just by opening DMG and looking whether the app icon has crossed or normal icon) and it seems that the latest version supported by Sierra is 0.96.5 . Although I did not find confirmation in the changelog of v0.97.0 thread . I ...

Latest version for macOS Sierra (10.12)?
Hi dear XnView Support Team and Community!
I'm looking for the latest version of XnView MP that is supported by macOS Sierra (10.12). I've searched the forums, but only found Sierra-related posts mentioning version 0.89, although, I also found that Maverick support was sropped in 0.90, so I assume ...
