Re: Fit image to window Large only
I'm sorry, yes. You're right. My brain is a bit mixed up because it does not work like I thought it would. When I use that all my images are shrunk to fit the window and it even shrinks ones that could fit on the window. I wanted it to resize the window each image (keep image at 100%) unless the ...

Re: Fit image to window Large only
Thank you Pierre for you help. I do not have "fit image to window large only" in settings->view-> auto image size. There is actually no auto image size selection that I can see but I might be missing it. What I do see is 'reset auto-image size with next/previous image.' I keep trying it but it does ...

Fit image to window Large only
There is a command cmd_fitLarge that will fit an image to the window if it's too big for the screen. However when I go to the settings->view->view-tab under auto image size there is only the Fit image to window , not Fit image to window large only. I would like Fit image to window large only to be ...

Re: Can XnView skip specific files?
Yes! That's it!! Thank you!!
I unchecked the text boxes and that mostly worked. One text file was still showing up so I entered "txt" and "doc" and "docx" in the 'Exclude' row and now it's perfect!

Re: Can XnView skip specific files?
Thank you for your help here. Yes, I have tried those settings. I just checked them again and the up/down arrows as well as the scroll wheel are set to previous/next file. It's just that it gets stuck when it comes to a text file, only a space bar will allow it to proceed to the next file.
Is there ...

Re: Can XnView skip specific files?
Yes, with 1.5.5. I can advance forward past a text file with the space bar to view the following photo but I can't use the arrow keys or the mouse wheel to do the same. I had tried XnView a couple of years ago and don't remember having this issue. I recently started using it again but found this ...

Can XnView skip specific files?
I have a 'temp' folder that I drag stuff into so I can sort it later. When I use XnView to view images in that folder and it comes upon a text file it shows the text file and I can't use the mouse wheel to scroll to the next image. Is there a way I can get XnView to ignore certain files such as ...

Fit windows to image and image to window questions
Hi, I'm new and trying to decide if I want to switch to XnView MP from ACDSee in Windows 11. I've been pretty happy with the old ACDSee as an image viewer but it's starting to not recognize some new formats. So far XnView seems like a good replacement except one set of issues, and it''s probably due ...
