XnView Software

I have uninstalled MP and installed XnView. Paste is now active in the Edit menu, but it (and ctrl-V) doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to have a particular screen or part of the program open to paste into?

You are correct, it's MP. Have I downloaded the wrong version?

I write software manuals, and I frequently have to capture screens for the manuals. My workflow is that I capture a screen, paste it into a viewer/editor program, make some minor adjustments like cropping, then copy and paste into my document.

Is it possible to do this in XnView? I can't seem to ...
