also having problems with jxl-files. They're simply not shown anymore in XnView 1.7.0 64 bit- MacOSX Libformat 7.174. Exif Tool in the "Info"-panel says: "Unknown file type". This is unfortunate, because I wanted to use JPEG XL to dramatically reduce the disk space used for archival ...
