Blender 5.0 (open source) allows HDR visualization of HLG and PQ encoded content.
Google's libultraHDR allows to convert Gain Map images to PQ or HLG.
From my understanding, these are the required software bases.
An probably unrealistic but potentially neat alternative would be to build the image ...

XnViewMP doesn't display .AVIF photo's correctly that i exported in HDR Rec.2020 color 1000nits from Adobe Lightroom
How to solve? Will there come an update?
Currently on MacOS 15.0 Sequia, these photos are also wrongly displayed by 'Apple Preview' and Safari
only correctly displayed by Google ...

Is this not a priority feature? There are basically no viewers availabie which support tonemapping and HDR gain maps. You could be the first, guys! The best image viewer can get even better :)

There is a Demo App from Adobe which is really nice as a viewer but it's doesn't allow much ...
