Believe it is the same problem as Issue #83 on github, so i won't be opening a new Issue.

Selecting 'Save as' does not work, but just clicking the 'Save' button works fine.

Got the same issue here on Bazzite, unable to save any image running XNView MP 1.9.8

When running the appimage direct there are no issues at all. Running XNView on Linux ...
