inconsistent scroll wheel behavior
The scroll wheel preference only seems to apply to viewer mode, and not also to browser mode. Instead of being able to use the mouse wheel to cycle through pictures in the browser, it will ONLY zoom them in or out.

XnViewMP beta 0.26
Just installed .26 on Mac OS 10.6.4. Seems to work pretty well. No crashes so far. I did notice a few anomalies that I wanted to post since I didn't see anyone else mention them:
1) If I browse to any sort of mounted drive -- network, CD, or external hard drive -- via the tree pane, rolling the ...

Re: XMP .21 on Linux won't read networked directories
The problem shares are on a NAS mounted as CIFS in FSTAB.
I tried browsing directly to a networked Windows XP machine, through Ubuntu's equivalent of "Network Neighborhood", and was able to successfully view images in the directory. (Could also browse the directory from MP's location history ...

Specifically, how are you doing what you're doing?
Maybe I'm missing something obvious. Any help would be most appreciated...

command line variables for MP?
I'm trying to set MP as my default graphic viewer, but it doesn't seem to support having files passed to it from the command line.
Usually, the format is "appname %f" or "appname filename" but I can't make that work no matter what I try, so I thought I should ask in case MP doesn't support that.

Re: XnviewMP on Ubuntu Karmic
You don't need to "install" the app. All you need to do is unzip it and run it from wherever you unzipped it.
To add XnView to the applications menu, you need to use System > Main Menu , then navigate to the menu you want to add to, then create a launcher.

XMP .21 on Linux won't read networked directories
Running XMP on Ubuntu Karmic (9.10 -- and on 9.04 before that) seems to work great. The one problem I have is that it refuses to read networked directories. The top directory of any network share appears in in the XMP folder tree, but there's no "plus" to expand for more folders, and if I change to ...

Re: two installer bugs w. 1.92.1
Once the installation is complete, there is a panel that comes up asking where the .INI should be stored. In both cases, I selected the installation directory, however, when XnView was first launched, the default INI file was created in $profile.

two installer bugs w. 1.92.1
I've done two separate installs of 1.92.1 in the last couple of days and noticed this problem on both setups.
