and since I'm using the 'Document Feeder' I don't get the dialog box which asks 'Do you want to continue batch scanning".
I've just experimented with putting one page into the document feeder at a time and that seems to work just fine. In other words, I get multipage scans if I feed the scanner ...

Hi, I've read some previous posts on this topic which seem to have been fixed though it continues to be an issue for me,

Sure - that would be great !
Out of curiosity -- don't the various platform versions share the same
code base ? Meaning a feature, such as SANE, added to the windows
version will ultimately make it ...

Are there any plans to support the SANE standard [1] for image capture ?
Here's a brief intro,

In short, it lets your "share" a scanner on a LAN which is what I
do on my network at home (I run mostly linux but have a few
windows boxes for the wife/kids, etc ...
