Just seen another post stating XnView doesn't support unicode.

Off to try XnViewMP.

Filenames containing characters with a Caron
e.g. č
are listed incorrectly, and their image is not displayed.

Pierre -
I ticked "Ignore alpha channel"
and conversions are now working again.

Surprised an alpha-channel was involved,
as these were in-game screenshots.
