That's what I tried first, but it didn't help.
Just in case, I used the "attrib +s" parameter to assign a custom icon to the folder...
(but disabling that didn't help either)

Crash if folder is not named "xn view mp"
Hi
Downloaded the mp version yesterday (zip version), put it in an "xn view mp" folder not to conflict with my non mp xnview.
Today I deleted the "old" xnview and wanted to rename the "xn view mp" folder to "xn view", but if i do that, xnview refuses to run :
application error
the exception ...

hi
I sometimes download magazines, which come as zip or rar, and like, half of the time, it crashes when I try to browse them.
Also, sometimes, XNview doesnt display the images, but the characters instead.
If you wanna test, an example of a file causing crashes (each time here) :
