I should explain my last answer:
I had only activated this item "General >> Operation >> [×] Display all image file types" to find the info-extension and linked only manually HAM- and info-files (both from Amiga resp. IFF).
I'm only wondering that per default not all kind of files are displayed ...

I'm a little bit surprised that there is an extra activation for all file types which xnview supports.

Many thanks again for this second tip - now xnview works in such way which I wants.

I'm new here in this board and sorry for my bad english.

I have only one question:
What I have to do that xnview displays a single picture in a simple window like other picture viewers displays pictures? If I open a picture I'm always in the big window of the main program.

I use a databank ...
