Just want to suggest if you can add a "Remember Position" or specify X/Y Window position for non-fullscreen slideshows. You can already specify Window Width-Height, why not X-Y screen coordinates? At the moment you can only specify "Center" so it wont be that hard to do X-Y ;)

Another good feature to add in slideshow would be to open up the viewer/browser for the current photo in the show. Same as the vista sidebar slideshow.

New Features for Slideshow in Windows
Here are some suggestions for new features to add when running a Slideshow file (i.e. .SLD).
1) Remember window position when not in full screen mode (i.e. run in window with a specified size)
2) Hide Task Window to Task Tray when running a slide show
3) Maybe a Zoom Pan transition like Windows ...
