Obviously this cannot be printed, papersize 21x29cm
Suggestion to add a feature to XnViewMP to handle such prints.

Re: Move to folder named after exif date
Hi,
this is almost exactly what I am looking for. However it is not configurable to "yyyy-mm"
I have tried "batch rename" with filename = "{EXIF:Date Taken [Y-m]}\{Filename}", but this will not create subfolders

Re: Move to folder named after exif date
Imported photos (from camera), both RAW and JPGxnview wrote:i don't understand your problem
All in 1 folder (e.g. Photos)
Various dates
Now they should move to subfolders based on Exifdate, e.g.
\Photos\2014-12-01
\Photos\2014-12-04
\Photos\2014-12-06
etc.

Re: Writing EXIF data
Well, I must say I am very disappointed by the general lack of interest in this matter, about 140 views and just 1 comment says it all about the usefulness of storing/retrieving EXIF data to/from pictures and the disinterest shown by most amateur photographers (as I assume we are) to a neatly ...

Move to folder named after exif date
Whilst using XnViewMP
How to move photos to folders named after the exif shooting date, also the ones in arw (Sony RAW) format?
I might look for 3rd party tools, but first I would like to check here.
Thanks

Add How to Backup Database
Regularly when a new version is introduced a remark is added
//
Database has been improved, PLEASE make an backup of it before to install this version
//
As a tip, maybe add 'How to' do that' there '?

XnViewMP Install
I had to install Windows from scratch.

At first, accidentally, I installed XnView in a 'fresh new' folder. Immediately after the install I had to go thru all kinds of settings.

Toolbar->Show Pan tool
I am not sure whether this should be placed under 'Suggestions' because maybe I am overlooking the possibility...?
What about adding 'Show Pan Tool' to the toolbar. I know, it can be switched on/off using settings.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks

Re: Is there a Contact Sheet function anymore?
Up front..
Sofar I -never- created a contact sheet, so I did not know how to create one and alsod did not know that it wasn't / isn't available in MP.
Having MP installed, I went on to select the thumbnails, then used File->Print, adjusted rows/colums (in the preview), etc->then selected SnagIt ...
