XnView 1.9 in WinE - Windows Emulator - FABULOUS!

I am ecstatic!! Upon first testing XnView here in Fedora Core 5, under WinE -- it seems to run quite, very well!! I love it better than XnView for Linux already! i can do everything i wanted, so far. (see screen capture) i've viewed, and browsed a PSD directory-- and the editing done to the screenca...

the virtue of patience

Again, thank you so much for your steadfast, and incredible accomplishments in XnView for Windows. Just to remind you, however  i too will be grateful to receive an updated XnView for Linux (Fedora Core 5). You're the only thing that can preview PSD's, TIFF, and everything--- even XCF's!! what...

XnView - Linux - "Import Clipboard"

Hi. One of my favourite features from XnView Windows is the "Import Clipboard". Using XnView via WinE (windows emulator) on Fedora Core 5 (GNU/Linux), i do not see the Import Clipboard feature. Is it there? Also, XnView is not displayed in the "KDE Menu" where the rest of the Wine apps are located. ...

hi there! it's been a while since i've been to the forum. i thought it would be interesting to "bump" this topic-- to see if anyone else would like to cast a vote in this poll.

(edit: maybe the poll can no longer be used? i can't determine...)

thanks for sharing your thoughts. it's nice to see a bit of a "personal trait" show through, such as your Wisdom! :) you're right about the stages in life! hopefully, it is easy to see the difference between money-hungry, and hungry in general (as in , for food). ;) i suppose it's easy to point a fi...

Re: Another XnView?!?!

Thank you for your interest, claification, and accolade for XnView. anytime! it's the least i can do for one of my most frequently used software programs! i only wish i had the excess fortune to send a gift / donation to help further development. as it stands, i have very little fortune, so i use a...

ahh, i see what you mean w/ the pool. i admin a phpbb2 myself, and by default (years ago at least), i believe even the "poll" must be added on as a plugin / extension-- 'course, by now, it probably is a default feature, they've gotten to be so advanced. maybe polling is too. but, i'm stickin' w/ my ...

hey there, thanks for sharing your XnView experience! re: the poll-- it's a phpbb thing... you should have one at the bottom of your post / reply window. the options are quite limited-- in fact, i had to eliminate some of what i had there as i was getting a "Too many options in your poll" error. heh...

XnView Poll : Your Favourite Use of the Software

NOTE: I edited the Subject of this because i thought it might be interesting to resurrect this poll -- just to see if anyone else perhaps would like to contribute a vote. :) (my inquiry below being irrelevant to the poll -- let's keep it to the poll if we may) if you wish to search, as is one of the...

Re: Another XnView?!?!

http://www.xzeos.net/site_xnview_uk/index what's up with this? The URL at the very Top is Erroneous!! to eliminate chance for confusion, probably best to use the directory root or... to add the proper MIME type extension ;) http://www.xnview.fr/site_uk/index.html also, just above, the URL doesn't g...

Re: FYI - Server D/L problem - view screenshot

check out this Article on XnView Nice link with a good review :-) (Although I don't like comparisons too much). i agree w/ you, helmut. not sure if you realize that i authored that "review" or not, but yes-- i shouldn't have done the comparison-- it's a function of a mind-set that "too many" other ...

doex XnView offer any "screen capture" related utilities? i have only recently found a worthwhile, dedicated and lightweight screen capture utility, named Gadwin Print-Screen , but until then, i used to simply activate PrintScreen, or: Alt+PrintScr (WinXP) to capture what i needed. i kept MS Paint i...
