Thanks for the tip, but it does not work. And interesting: I have no preview at all until I uncheck "Show in preview"...
Same with *.bat-Files...

Harder "Autolevels" (like Photoshop)
Especially with indoor photos Autolevels of XNView messes less than the one of Photoshop. But in most outdoor pictures Photoshops Autolevels makes a better job than XNViews. One example: http://home.pages.at/brotondi/Photoshop.html . Use Next to load the XNView Autolevels and then switch with Alt-Le...

Hi Clo Thanks for your big reply :) -> "Only one instance" without testing earlier versions of XNView is very usefull for me. I hope this will not change ;). Suggestion 2: Perhaps a command line switch could also bypass this test allowing to start a second instance as exception. But best would be th...

Folder Context Menu "new XnView"
There exists a folder context menu "Explorer". An "XnView" would be nice too: If you want to compare/browse multiple Folders. Workaround: Copy Path -> Start XNView -> Paste Path. (if [x] Only one instance you first have to change this setting and restart XNView or manually change OnlyOneInstance=0 i...

I prefer instant save of settings also because...

Where to find the actual Version? (including Alpha, Beta...)
During 1.90 I found it under http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewforum.php?f=53 earlier it was on another Thread and now? (I think http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewforum.php?f=35 is the actual one) Suggestion: On http://newsgroup.xnview.com/ this should be visible (e.g. General Support->Question or suppo...

Instant Save Settings -> "[] Only one Instance"
Normally I work with "[x] Only one Instance". But sometimes I need a second one.
If at this moment I should not close XNview I have to change "OnlyOneInstance=0" in the xnview.ini
If xnview.ini would be saved instantly after "OK" in Settings. This would not be necessary.
Greetings, Bruno

Save selection or marked picture in History
Back/Forward combined with "[x] Cache Thumbnails" allows to quickly compare two Folders with the same pictures but e.g. "Auto Levels". (switching between the Folders with Alt-Left/Right allows to see the differences) Thanks! But it works only with the first few pictures since Alt-Left/Alt-Right jump...

hmmm really strange: I set back my system to a point where 1.90 was installed and compiled my project: Everything o.k. now I really only changed gflib.bas to V2.67 and compiled -> exe connects to status-d.icq.com:DNS... turned gflib.bas back to V1.90, compiled, but still contacting... excluded gflib...
