"Save as"
"export"
both are forwarding to previous save location, instead of current folder.
I'd like files to default to source folder when saving with either option.

Inherit EXIF when creating collage
Add an option to image collage maker that would allow picking which image's EXIF to use or use the first one's on the list, instead of wiping it.

The program isn't transparent with the information about either with smooth option selected or without. So which methods are used?

@ xnview ,

Rotation method?
What rotation method is it using in viewer and is there a selection setting for it?
It seems that using paint.net with its bicubic setting is better for image rotation.

Re: How to remove metadata
I don't see this option. The batch convert settings of format (save iptc exif xmp) aren't clearing it either.
The only way is to export with "remove all metadata" ticked, which is ok for a couple of files, but gets annoying quickly for 3+.

How to disable video files autoreading?
More specifically how to disable not fully downloaded video files from being read (or all video files would work too)?
XnviewMP simply crashes whenever I open it in a folder with an incomplete video download, requiring me to move images out of the folder first.

Re: How to change strip (joined images) saving place behavior
@xnview yes, for some reason for strips the destination save folder offers neither the source files folder, nor the default saving folder, but some other - much older - previously used place.

How to change default folder used for strip (joined images)
It is always some older folder for export, neither current folder of the used images nor a predefined one.

Compare images - highlight differences/same parts
Add a checkmark/button to highlight differences between images
Add a flip to inversely single out differences instead (color the rest of the image with the same color for example)
Add a detection (sensitivity) slider
kinda like imagemagick https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/compare/
useful for ...

Re: [request] batch-convert options
on top of that idea would be nice to have an option to chose the lowest size from the selected preset formats & their settings, so for example:
batch convert images inside selected folders into one of webp, jpg, gif using set settings, chosing whichever is the smallest per file, delete originals to ...
