To draw a quick line, I can say that XnView leads, followed by IrfanView, FastStone Viewer and Force Vision. Fresh View finishes last, but doesn't have anything to be ashamed of.

I'm really looking foward for news in this area, because when you set the mouse wheel to zoom and by mistake you give it a couple of spins, if the go in the wrong direction (and by wrong I mean, making it Zoom In) the only way to stop XnView is Ctrl+Alt+Del'ing :|

well, i'd agree with using it on xnview.
like i saud before, xnview looks too "win98". with the launch of vista coming (yeah right... cof, cof) i think xnview should start thining about giving a new life to the xnview look.
and no, it's not too shiny... that's how it must be.
