Have you been able to reproduce?

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
So, in batch mode EXIF datas are kept, and not in one image view?
Exact. In batch resize the GPS data are kept. If resized or cropped individually, the GPS data whipped (all set to zeros actually)
Why you don't use XnConvert?
I mainly use Resize Me to crop images so it's always one by one ...

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Hello Pierre,
Last version is 2.2.15 and the problem still. Did you find the root-cause of this issue ?
Crop, rotate, invert up/down or left/right have the same consequence: All the GPS data in EXIF database are set to 0 or null (confirmed by EXIFTOOL).
I found a track of a mail I sent in may 2022 ...

Re: Autoplay Videos in File List
Bug Fix Confirmed in XnView MP 1.7.2, Thank you!
Unfortunately not .
The new 1.7.2 just comes with option "Autoplay (video)" unchecked (setup menu Display > Various) in the .ini file. And this is not related to the View mode (detailed, thumbnails only, ...) in the browser.

Re: problem moving files
Hello,
I'll try multiple move/deletions in the coming days and confirm if no recurrence. Thank's Pierre
Known problem, difficult to reproduce as it may be fine 10 times and one day some files or folders becomes locked by XnView and only way is to close the App :(
Existing post on same issue ...

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Interesting.
The batch mode of ResizeMe keeps the EXIF data unchanged. So only the single mode is bugy.
Using XnConvert works fine as well

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Additional test, using one's Google Pixel 5 / Android 14
I installed ResizeMe (the free version) but then not only the GPS but ALL the EXIF metadata was whipped
I checked the Play Store and it's said "* Keep EXIF tags
* Keep GPS data" so definitely something wrong.

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
I think I did it already in the past but anyway. I cleared all the data before de-installing. I reinstalled and tested.
Same problem.
just to ensure : the container for GPS data is three but it's all blank, null (see screenshot from EXIF Pro)

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Yes, it's ResizeMe Pro!
Crop & Resize
my Sony XZ2 runs Android 10
Screenshots of the settings attached. GPS data should be OK.
It worked in the past. I can't tell you when this failed but it's months ago for sure.

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Hello Pierre, here attached a sample picture original taken in Talmont St Hilaire (GPS location visible in the album, and in XnView).
The second file is the same, cropped to show only the harbour only. The album doesn't show the location anymore because the values are null.
The map in XnView shows ...

Re: Batch Convert option Keep Parent Folder
Hmmm I made some trials to fully understand. I think the purpose is to save the processed files into a new folder having the same name as the original (need to be done either on another volume or in another folder).
