Hi Clo.

It is the icon for the "Custom Rotate" toolbar button. The command that I select in the toolbar config dialogue for adding it to the View-toolbar is "cmd_Rotate (Custom)". It is neither cmd_Rotate90 nor cmd_Rotate180 nor cmd_Rotate270.
The foo.bar file shows in the "View Toolbar" section ...

Re: Information display in fullscreen mode shows garbage

Could you post a screenshot? Do you use the 1.95?
Pierre, I don't know how to post a screenshot here except by a URL, but I have no webserver where I could deposit the file.
Instead, I'm going to send you an email to removed with sample images (which you may use to reproduce the error) and a ...

I can't say whether the sound file is in the exe or not. I'll check tomorrow (that is, later today. It's already 1:30 a.m. here).
But the exe played the sound when the WAV file was there, and it hung the system when when the WAV file had been moved.

Re: Not in config…

• I tested on that moment making an EXE with a .WAV sound file played as a loop.
1. The sound doesn't work while you are still in the Slide Show dialogue and click "Start" to test your new Slide Show…
2. Going to the folder which contains that new EXE >> 2-click on, the sound is played alright as ...

Information display in fullscreen mode shows garbage

On a screen with 1280x1024 pixels (proportion 5:4), displaying an image with proportion 4:3 in fullscreen mode, produces black bars on top and bottom of images because of the differing screen proportions. That's OK.
I configured fullscreen mode to display information, e.g. IPTC:headline, within the ...

How to play music with slide show?

Using XnView 1.95 I wish to play a WAV file together with the slide show. I specify the WAV file in the slide show config and start the show. No sound audible!
It's my first try with music in slide show. Never used it with previous versions of XnView.
The WAV file is ok. It plays with Windows Media ...

Pierre, I found the program "exiftool" ( http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ ) which I can use for copying the EXIF:XPtitle field to IPTC:headline using the command:
exiftool -ext jpg . "-EXIF:XPtitle>IPTC:headline"

Ok, i have it now, they have added own tag in exif
I just browsed through the EXIF format specifications and found that there is a "UserComment" field which is (as it seems) the only field that has no character code limitations. Since the Microsoft file information is stored as 2-byte character ...

I did some tests and found that the mentioned information ist stored inside the JPEG file. It seems not to be the XMP data because the "build IPTC from XMP" option in Metadata is greyed out.
Pierre, I could send you an example. But you can create one yourself. Just enter some information via the ...
