Re: Wish: Slideshow at image size

Right, sorry, I have overseen this option. Easy solution. :)

You could move the option to the fullscreen option, since both are working together. ;)

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

I'm not sure it's the same issue. Here XnView shows the thumbnail images of a folder and If I save images to this folder per software like V-Ray than only a few or no new thumbnails of the fresh files are added.

Forcing an update per F5 could be a good workaround. At the moment I need to jump to ...

Re: Wish: Slideshow at image size

Did I wrote "stretch"? ;)

At the last post I ask for to get following modes:

(1) "fullscreen" - all is scaled to fullscreen (not possible yet)
(2) "100%" - large images are shown in full screen and small images at 100% (this is the current fullscreen mode)
(3) "fixed size" (this is current ...

Re: Wish: Slideshow at image size

Interesting for me - I never used the fullscreen option for images which are smaller than my display size. Today I found that the option "fullscreen" isn't fullscreen, it's a 100% mode for small images. I think it could be useful if "fullscreen" would scale all images to fullscreen and "100%" mode ...

Re: Wish: Slideshow at image size

Yes, it would match my need. :)

But if possible you could allow to use the current image size of each image. This would match my need too and would be more flexible. So, user could be sure that images are not enlarged and large blurry pixels are shown.

Re: Wish: Slideshow at image size

At the moment I have two options for a slideshot - fullscreen or I set manual a size. Could it be possible to get an option like "current image size" and all images smaller than the display size are shown at 100% (best with a black area around)?

Often I want to compare different version of an image ...

Wish: Slideshow at image size

Hi,

often I miss to start a slideshow at the current image size without to manual type in the output size. At the moment I can choose full screen or a manual set size only.

Also I miss the shortcut Ctrl+L to start a slideshow like at XnView Classic.

Best-

Lossless shift for pano JPG?

Hi,

could it be possible to get a lossless sideward shift for equirectangular panorama JPG? So, the initial view of panorama images could be adjusted without to recompress the JPG. But I'm not sure the JPG data allow it.

Re: "Remove alpha" missing

I tried to use the function today and found that it doesn't work as in XnView Classic.

In XnView Classic I'm able to open and PNG at XnView, disable the transparency per Ctrl+H and choose "remove alpha channel" from the image menu. The transparency is removed but the background image is kept and ...

Thank you for the hint. I tested it at NConvert with UI. So, I will look for how to use the command line tool.

Re: How to convert 16 bit PNG to 16 bit TIF?

Sounds good. I tried it but ... "WARNING: the picture will be converted to RGB with 8bits per component". Did I have overseen an option?

How to convert 16 bit PNG to 16 bit TIF?

Hi,

if I convert a 16 bit PNG to a TIFF than the 16 bit color depth is lost. Is it a bug or do I need to set the right parameter only?

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

I still have the problem, also if I use other software for saving images to the current directory. It could be really useful to update the view per F5. ;)

PNG 16bit are shown too dark (wrong gamma)

Hi,

I have photos wich are 16 bit PNG, but XnView MP show this too dark. Attached an example - image at the right is the PNG and at the left there is a TIF version of the image. Is there a way that the image is right shown?

Best regards,
Micha
