I'm so glad XnView is being updated quiet frequently - it means it's constantly improving even though it's already near-perfect software :mrgreen:

What I meant was the installer could easily carry both 32 and 64bit versions and install the needed one based on type of the OS, instead of installing something that will not work at all. Right?

Shell extension that comes with complete package is 32bit

Hello!
The shell extension that cames with complete package is 32bit only. On 64bit OS the installation will offer to install that extension, it will succeed without any errors, but will not be used by the OS. Users will have to manually download and install 64bit version.

Here in the asian world people use ACDSee 6 and up without any problems, very popular. XnView completely (!) fails as it can not handle paths nor names containing non-western characters.

That also means that XnView has - at this time - nearly zero users where most of the potential users reside ...
