I think that there is no problem here, just bad workflow...
1. I don't wish to use a third party soft to capture that I need. Please, just give a glance to the menus look here to see that I get : only the title of the concerned menu above, and nothing more.

I would not like to sound offensive, but one should not change application when really there is something (someone) else to change...loth wrote: (because i really can't calculate (kb to mb, or ms to min)
I personally see it like very minor user experience feature. It wouldn't disturb me though.

Steps:
- delete ini
- start XnView
- uncheck 'Browser>File list>Full row select'
- go to directory with images
- change mode to Thumbnails&Details
- select image
- change mode to List or Details - the file list view is a bit corrupt.

I think the problem presented by Clo in the first post is blown out of proportions.
What's the problem with setting most used filetypes with Write>Filetypes and then choosing them by click on list and then pressing letter?
You want BMP, you click list and press B, you want then JPG at the next save ...
