OK this seems to be fixed in RC7 I got confused about the versions sorry. So now this can be moved to 'Closed/Solved' for sure.

If you still have this bug, go to download latest RC7 release.

This happend only when tabs is on. And Pierre have fixed this already (not in RC7 but in final it should be fixed)

Could some of the admins move this to 'Fixed in RC8 (Final?)' or 'Closed/Solved'?

In the Simple[XnView] template / page.html the DOCTYPE is missing! Otherwise html and css files seems to be valid.
This was me and I forget to mention that, you can use...

HTML validator: http://validator.w3.org/
CSS validator: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

to check the templates before ...

Many programs which can set wallpaper use similar way to store the wallpaper, but commonly they use only one file to store the wallpaper. Are you sure that XnView don't delete the old wallpaper before setting new wallpaper?

This has been fixed in RC7.
One little thing is still buging in RC7.

every time when you restart XnView the folder tree area comes bigger

Reproduce
- Select layout 1
- minimize preview area
- Restart xnview (preview area is a bit bigger. Every time when you restart XnView the preview area ...

You maximize xnview, close it, and start up again??
I think that he means maximizing MDI browser window.

Edit:
In RC6 when the 'Use different position/size for rowser & view' is on and you have minimized browser tab and after viewing picture when you maximize browser the position/size don't ...

Yeah I guess you are right. (I was one of the 'new icons for XnView' loonys), but these things depends always peoples taste. And this icon what gives shivers for EgoSun, don't ...

What OS you have? I am using Windows 98 and I don't have any of those annoying things you describe.

Update:
XnView doesn't even try to use "Media Player Classic" when set to use External player it just crashes instantly.

Is flc media file. I have always thought that it is image format like gif.
And if memory serves well XnView 1.7 don't even use media player to view flc files.

I don't have this bug on windows 98 / windows XP. Maybe it is because of the old ini.

I just tried this with old RC5 ini and still I don't have this bug.
