Re: Yes and no…

:) Hello ! - The lack of text on some tabs is fixed here with RC4 here, BUT : 1. It seems that the widths of tabs have been limited with so long names, hence I get i.e. image_with_a _long… instead image_with_a_long_name.jpg 2. The small thumb-nail on the tab remains the same, I mean the one of the ...

RC4: 'Add text' doesn't work

Add text don't work with all fonts in windows 98 and in XP it don't work at all. (Maybe unicode font bug) Edit: heh heh I was so wrong. :D To reproduce. - open picture in XnView - Shift+T or in the menu Image/Add text... - In XP select any font (I didn't try them all, but about six different fonts d...

Edit: That 'XnView RC4 saves it's size/pos also in fullsized window' occur s only if browser is set to launch at startup and it occurs also in RC3 (sorry), but n...

Dreamer wrote:"New Fullscreen" is when you press F11 or F in the browser, it's preview in fullscreen, therefore my suggestions:

- "Browser Fullscreen"
- "Fullscreen Preview"
How this is different than fullscreen?

I don't understand this 'semi fullscreen' thought at all. "Fullscreen Preview" or "Preview Fullscreen" don't tell me nothing about the mode, but mode named this way would surely wake up my interest (but that's not the point). Edit: I removed something what reveal how dum I am, but that don't change ...

Of cource it could be just 'View mode', but that wouldn't be quite right.

Heres some suggestions.
- Edit mode
- View mode
- Adjust mode
- Modify mode
- Convert mode
- Vary mode :D

I prefer only Edit and View mode. Rest of the name are just wrong or BAD

the problem is that term "EDIT mode" is very confusing for users... Maybe so, but I don't think so. Because no one advertise XnView as editor and XnView haves view in it's name. So if users get confused, it's their own fault (No offence Dreamer :) ) I actually think that Edit mode would clear thing...

I am using Windows 98 SE Edit2: Occurs in all 'scan headers' modes with me. And I can't reproduce this in XP at all. Edit3: Occurs also in XP, check below...

I have remove it, but now many users ask for it :-( Is it really needed? I don't use it... but the idea is good. 1. Use the most used formats 2. Use the most used formats and these: [ *.raw;*.img ] - (with ability to manually add any extension(s) here) 3. Use all formats available So I prefer this ...

Sorry to pump this, but I am now sure that size/position is't saved in mode wheres nothing is open (no pictures in view and no browser). I also tested this in XP with same results. I think that in mode wheres nothing is open the size/position options should be saved at least when 'Use different pos ...
