I got breakthrough when debugging this bug.

OK heres how to reproduce.
- go to 'Options / Browser / File list'
- Check all checkboxes in both 'Items shown in...' groupboxes, except the 'All other files', uncheck them.
- Then go to Browser select thumbnails / (thumbnails & details) or details ...

We don't - you do. There are at least as many people who have disagreed on this as supporters. Another button will make the path box smaller, too. Anyway, it's up to Pierre.
Of course if theres a possible to disable it, it can't bother anyone. Just like everybody have been pointed out, not in 1.80 ...

So the toolbar buttons get stuck when clicking them with both mouse button and it occurs only in XP.

- The lack of text on some tabs is fixed here with RC4 here, BUT :

1. It seems that the widths of tabs have been limited with so long names, hence I get i.e. image_with_a _long… instead image_with_a_long_name.jpg

2. The small thumb-nail on the tab remains the same, I mean the one of ...

RC4: 'Add text' doesn't work

Add text don't work with all fonts in windows 98 and in XP it don't work at all. (Maybe unicode font bug) Edit: heh heh I was so wrong. :D

To reproduce.
- open picture in XnView
- Shift+T or in the menu Image/Add text...
- In XP select any font (I didn't try them all, but about six different ...

Just want to add to the previous that the 'Maximize XnView at Startup' have to be naturally unchecked.

Edit:
That 'XnView RC4 saves it's size/pos also in fullsized window' occur s only if browser is set to launch at startup and it occurs also in RC3 (sorry), but ...

Not fixed in RC4 when using win98. In XP it works well.
And when sendin picture to Xnview Size/pos fullscreen options are ignored
