Yep, you're right about that trick of highlighting the link then hitting GO. Interesting. Still, the images are not corrupted on my end. As for the cache, I always set mine on 200 megs, (as compared to the preset of 50 megs). It doesn't help it. And the images are in the cache, on the hard drive, ot...

Firefox and Mozilla is weird when it comes to images. One of the things I think is boneheaded stupid is how images are tied to the Downloads box. I still sometimes have the box pop up in Firefox (It always does with Mozilla) when saving an image, and sometimes when you right click and save it'll dow...

Nothing wrong on my end. Perhaps you're having browser trouble?

EDIT: no problems for me either with IE6 or Firefox.

EDIT 2: your direct links don't work in either browser.

Well, the preview junk ruined XnView so I'll stick with 1.74.

I've never known XnView could do that. Just learned something. What I meant is that the zooming effect can be minimized, and didn't want anyone to think I was giving the screensaver a low rating because I didn't personally like the zooming. EDIT- I just looked and XnView doesn't crossfade or anythin...

I don't really care for the zoom effect at all, so if implemented would like to be able to totally disable it.

The zoom effect in the linked screensaver can be minimal, though, so I recommend everyone give it a look.

That's actually a nice and nothing fancy (meaning not bloated) screensaver. (I personally recommend moving the "scale" setting slower).

This latest idea seems okay enough, as long as you're the type who doesn't shorten the list to begin with.

I personally want to see the most common buttons right there on the Save box. Leave all the "oddities" in the dropdown.

Well, since the subject has been brought up, I'd like to see "delete originals" moved to some dark corner. It's too easy to accidentally select, as I once found out.

to Clo: - Same here… However, there are formats for the various UN*X based-OSs, and too now formats for digital cameras (I guess, I've not any digital camera yet) I've only had one since August 1st, and am no expert, and had to do months of studying before settling on my model. I've seen that for al...

http://membres.lycos.fr/charries/relais/save-full.png I like the idea of this box, with the types right there, instead of having to drop the list down. With the exception of the icons type, those are the only types I use. Let's tell the truth - so many choices from the dropdown list tells me that X...
