hi all,
if i doubleclic onto a file/pic in windows explorer and view the file/pic in xnview
and press alt-m to move the file somewhere, the file will be moved to that location but
is still shown in xnview. if i press alt-m again, this message comes up:
this folder have already a subfolder with the ...

xnview opens the pic in fullscreen.
i press ctrl-b and xnview starts the browser-mode.
i press enter (or click) on the same picture.

thanks guys, for the hints, but
i see that it is way too complicated for a normal user to do this.
so saving my preferences to a file (i.e. loth.xnprefs) would be very useful.
i would apreceate something like this.
simple and with no restart, fiddeling with important files, im-/exporting ...

when viewing a pic in fullscreen and using ALT+TAB to toggle between some other windows-tasks, i see the xnview task named "PFull" (i.e. in the taskbar/task-selector).
this is ugly ;-O

it would be more informative, if the task were named with the current viewed filename.
so "PFull" would be ...

i too encountered, that xnview is not saving the position and size when being maximized.
i start my xnview maximized via options.
also i had this:
[x] General>>remember last window position/size
[x] General>>Use different position/size for browser and view
start xnview.
make it *not* maximized if ...

i encountered a small but important problem for me, trying to reproduce some bugs reported in the "bug reports"-forum.
some user have different settings than me and so i try to set my system/xnview up so my system/xnview fits the system/xnview of the bug-reporter.
so far, so good ...

[x] flat style
now activating
[x] use shadow

...there should be the 'Apply' button in options, so that when you test new skins, you can just press 'Apply' instead of 'OK' and then have to go back to options again and again because 'OK' clears the options screen...
i just wanted to ask for that feature...but here it is already...

i'd like to see xnview remember the last category i were, when i left the options window.
i.e.
press F12
go to "browser"->"thumbnail"
press ok

-view a pic in fullscreen-mode.
-press ALT+M to move the file somewhere (but dont move the file)
-press ALT+TAB to set the xnview"PFull"window in the background (assuming, you have some other programs started...)
now
-click on the taskbar "PFull". xnview with the picture and the copy/move-dialog ...

Very strange, you had not this problem with 1.80?
i couldnt say that for sure, but: yes (i had not) :-)
the more you try/use a software, the more things you do/click/change.
so i cannot give any more definite/unambiguous information ;-(

hi all,
some wishes from me:
in browser mode.
if i try to move a file to a folder where a file with the same name exist, the "file already exists"-dialog comes up.
i click in the "new name"-field and enter a "2" at the end of the filename and press enter. (so the filename will be filename2)
now ...
