I personally prefer a "warm" look over a "cold" look...
So I do.
The question was: what is the better color for the screen, specially in full screen mode, to show my pictures on it ?
For my feeling I said neutral(or quite) and dark. Why ? I prefer to see my pictures on the screen than the screen ...

Re: GPS
On my signature I said I use Linux Ubuntu.
But if I open under Windows XP and I select the Celle picture:
-in your GPS tab I get a good map
-in the Tools menu the item "Open GPS location in Google Earth..." is deasabled (for GeoHack it's enable)
I have not this problem with Ubuntu.

Sorry, it's Windows , not neutral. As you can see it's a little bit warmer than neutral.XnTriq wrote:The “neutral grey” of the Windows Standard theme:

Re: GPS
It's no problem with the Google map you display in your GPS tab. With an other picture from Goslar everything is allright.
The problem is with the data you send to GoogleEarth when I use "Open location in GoogleEarth" in the Tools menu. As you see the pin on GoogleEarth is 104 kms in the south ...

Re: Convert proposal
When I post my text, I didn't saw the JohnFredC one's.
I found the sub-panel intersting, but I suggest to open it over the "Processing action" one. When you have finish to fix parameters of the step you open, you come back to the list of steps. Then it's place for picture(s) on the right and few ...

Re: Convert proposal
I found it's really better than in 1.97
I suggest you add some little arrow near Resize, Rotate, etc... to open/close the details of each tool.
If you convert just one file, it's easy to compare the result and the original picture. But if you work on a lot of them, it will be better to display two ...

Re: Move Dialog: path names not visible
The same as you christian99.
The windows to copy or move pictures, in the edit or context menus, show too narrow column for the paths and it's impossible to enlarge it.

I agree completely with Danny: Like i said, the color i was referring to is rgb(128,128,128). In interior design you may be right, but not for ...
