I agree ... it makes it difficult to move around a zoomed graphic but ... you get used to it

Re: Border to make an image square

Canvas resize is in the batch commands so you should be able to do it. You will probably have to make 2 batches; one for portrait and one for landscape. I would consider incorporating with a resize as a 1px border is a lot different on a 100 x 100px photo than a 1000 X 1000px

Re: Blurry folder thumbnails

My guess is that the folder representation is rendered a lot smaller than the thumbnails inside the folder of the actual graphics
You can go to settings / browser / thumbnails / misc and tweak the settings there but I doubt you will ever get the thumbnails to equal the actual graphics

Batch Rename Reset Button

I would like to suggest a small improvement in batch renaming' add a reset button or add this function to the "clear template" function. This would also do well in the "batch convert" module
Thanks

I've found the setting you need, I believe: Tools > Settings > Browser > Thumbnail -- Label tab Not easy as XnView MP has so many configuration options! :D I hope the options you need are supported, there may be more due to be added. Now I was through there 50 times and did not find this :D Good wo...

Not what people "do" but the nature of the beast. A preview, like a thumbnail, do not give the same quality as the full sized image But as for Davenport Iowa, they may not have had the $175 million but once the river over flowed, They were declared a federal disaster area and qualified for relief an...
