Problem seems to be fixed, but "Info" frame in full screen have now fixed high.
Only about 10 lines are displayed. The additional lines go off the bottom screen.

This is fullscreen Info with only 1 text line:
2020-06-25__16-05-22.png

Added another text line: info frame height is fixed, last bottom line exit from screen:
2020-06-25__16-05-54.png

With 3 text lines, another line exit from bottom of the screen:
2020-06-25__16-06-22.png

This is one of my sample info text:

Code: Select all

(({IPTC:Caption}))
<font color="Red" size="2"> ((Source: {IPTC:Source}))(( by {IPTC:Caption Writer})) </font>

<font color="Grey"> ((Taken </font> <font color="Yellow"> {EXIF:Date Taken [Y-m-d]} h {EXIF:Date Taken [H:M]})) </font> <font color="Grey"> (( ({EXIF:Exposure Time} s - f/{EXIF:F-Number} - {EXIF:Focal Length} mm ({EXIF:Focal Length 35mm} mm) - {EXIF:ISO Value} ISO) ))
((GPS: {EXIF:Latitude} {EXIF:Latitude Ref}; {EXIF:Longitude} {EXIF:Longitude Ref}))((; m {EXIF:Altitude} {EXIF:Altitude Ref}))</font>

<font color="LightBlue"> <b> [{File Index}] </b> </font> <font color="Yellow"> {Filename With Ext} </font> <font color="LightGreen"> ({Zoom}%) </font> <font color="Grey"> {Directory} </font>
{Width} x {Height} @ {DPI} spi - {Format} @ {Bpp} bpp - {Size KB} kb ((- {EXIF:Colour space}))
<font color="LightGreen"> (({EXIF:Make}: {EXIF:Model})) </font> <font color="Grey"> {EXIF:Software} </font>

Tested rel. 0.96.4, both Windows 10x64 and Windows 7x64.
Problem persist, and I found new bug:
Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP (^I) - Options - Mode [XMP, update or create IPTC-IIM]
Insert some text in [Caption].
[Write]
^I (again)
[Caption] is (sometimes) empty.
---
In tab [Info] [IPTC-IIM] Caption is present, but [XMP] is (sometimes) empty, but in [ExifTool] Both XMP:Description and IPTC:Caption-Abstract is present.

I found now another bug in full screen info text: long lines in caption is truncated (limit to display width, no lines wrapping).
I switch back to 0.95: multiple spaces is gone, but all the rest working ok.

Tested Version 0.96.5 64bits (Jul 19 2020) - Libformat version 7.45 on Windows 10x64

- Now full screen Info rectangle height is OK: it adjust height dinamically, but...

[BUG #1]
Long lines exits from screen's right (they are not word wrapped)

[BUG #2a]
- Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP: Options -> Mode "IPTC-IIM, update or create XMP"
- Insert some text in "Caption" field, then press [Write] and close window
- Caption are updated: in [ExifTool] tab you can read updated Caption both in XMP|Description and IPTC|Caption-Abstract
- Caption is updated too in [IPTC-IIM] tab, but [XMP] tab is completely empty (all blank)

[BUG #2b]
- In [ExifTool] tab verify that IPTC and XMP data is present (created in previous passage)
- Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP: Options -> change Mode to "XMP, update or create IPTC-IIM"
- Close window with "Esc" (now IPTC-IIM/XMP window does read and display XMP values, I suppose)
- Reopen IPTC-IIM/XMP window: sometimes "Caption" text is empty, but both XMP and IPTC text is filled (check in [ExifTool] tab)
- [XMP] tab is sometimes empty

My considerations:
1- Caption text word wrap is minor bug (I frequently have long line captions, but it is not common)
2- Empty caption field is a problem, because newly insert caption text overwrite older caption text, because it is not viewable

In this period, especially start from day 23, I have not free time, but I will try to test again with more tranquility on more configurations.
