Metadata change problem

Hi, I am facing the following problem (Xnview MP).
I need to change the file metadata (HEIC files) from File Creation Date to EXIF Shooting Date. If I do this for one file at a time, the operation is instantaneous. But if I select several files at once and start the process, the metadata change is very slow and takes 20-25 seconds for each file. Why is this so and is there any way to speed up the batch swap?

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
