A Linux version as nice as the 1.82 under Windows will be so kool...

This is probably not what you want to hear, but there is actually a Linux version which is as nice as the Windows one: The Windows version!

It works quite well with WINE. It's as fast as the Windows version and runs OK. A few things don't work:

- shell integration (but the Linux version doesn't have it anyway)
- the MDI stuff (but the Linux doesn't have it anyway)

The viewer itself and the browser are working fine under WINE.

well, of course we're all talking about a native linux version...

like pierre said on another topic, there are some efforts being made to bring xnview back to linux, lets wait and see ;)
