Filter/Items displayed extension

Every item of Filter menu could correspond to a set of 'Items displayed' options (with configurable item name as well).

This would be useful if user often browses directories with many types of contents, like image collection, video collection, download directory etc.

Going a step further, choosen filter could be associated with every Favourite.

So you would like to extend current 'Filter by' feature, by setting custom items, right?

Right.
It's like setting up different 'Items displayed' pages and making them accessible via Filter, with customised names- intead of currently fixed items like Images, Videos, etc.

Implementation could add to Items displayed:
- drop down list (containing defined filters)
- Add filter button (obligatory filter name entry)
- Delete current filter button

I think maximum number of filters could be set to 5-10?

Also, I wonder what other users think???
