Add support for .webp images...

Please add support for .webp images. When saving images from some sites, that is the image format we get. So it would be great if we can also view .webp images in XnView.

1) No, my 2.48 Standard did not have libwebp.dll in the plugin folder.

2) I have downloaded 2.49.1 FULL. I have double checked. It has libwebp.dll in the plugin folder.

3) It is working now. So the standard xnview doesn't have it, huh... but the thumbnails worked... I thought webp is something as common as png...
XnView.com → Additional Downloads → I/O Plugins → webp.zip

now that .webp is becoming a more common standard on websites, can we get it added to the xnview standard edition by default, so that it works out of the box for most users?

i think you have to select the all format file while downloading from web because due to policies google made this for user. if you did not aware about this then when you will download tha black page will come out

@vg2903

i'm talking about .webp support in xnview, not the web browser.
