How about a slider to dynamically change the thumbnail size in the browser? The browser settings page lets you do set the size, but using that requires several extra steps and is somewhat interruptive of workflow.
Thanks!

By the way, having the mouse wheel do this when the cursor is in the browser area would be a fine alternative (or addition) to the slider!

Come to think of it, keyboard shortcuts to increase/decrease thumbnail size would also work, as would "+" and "-" (plus and minus) buttons on the small toolbar.
[And, of course, the increment/decrement amount would be a preset percentage (to maintain aspect ratio), say 10%, or a preset number of pixels, say 16, or whatever is determined to be fast at runtime and not excessively difficult to implement.]

Re: Slider to change thumbnail size in browser
Update: Just learned that XnView MP has this feature and others I wanted. I asked the forum if there was a downside to switching and apparently there's not. So I'll use MP and retract this request.
Thank you to the fine folks at XnView and here on this forum!
