I don't know why but I have a huge white space all around the photos, how do I remove it?
Is there a way to reduce the borders under the pics (thumbnail view)?

unfortunately I have problems with DPI in xnviewMP and the interface is badly visible, for this reason I still use xnview classic

look here
https://postimg.cc/DS3vsmpf
not only is the font much fuller and more visible but also the whole interface is full of annoying transparencies which, I have to be honest, are also present in Xnview but less so.
And since I install PC and I always install Xnview to everyone, I had to stop installing MP because everyone told me they didn't like the interface

Re: Is there a way to reduce the borders under the pics (thumbnail view)?
zoom the image and you see that is not the same
what I notice is that there is a blur effect (I think that's what you call it) that I don't like and I'm not the only one, but maybe it's just us. I like bright colors, colorful icons, I really don't like this whole plastic glossy effect. Maybe it would be nice to have an option to change the skin with something less glamorous
sorry, I explained myself badly, they don't want MP for the font

then, allow me the advice, I don't understand the meaning of the gray icons because they are not active. Aesthetically they are very ugly, also because the appearance remains the same for almost the entire time of use.
And I specify that I use XnView because I have tried all the programs and yours is clearly the best and I always recommend it and thank you because you offer it to us for free in addition to the support

you have grayed icons in Classic too when there is no selectionthen, allow me the advice, I don't understand the meaning of the gray icons because they are not active. Aesthetically they are very ugly, also because the appearance remains the same for almost the entire time of use.
