If you have no AddOn folder in XnView's folder, create one

FAIK, files and folders can be zipped in a way that empty folders are also included in the archive. So after unpacking the whole file structure would be there. This way people would have less work, less questions, and less trouble.

Just some plugin note: (CADImage)

I suddenly got a registration popup from the CADImage pluging, and now XnView (on my side) has lost SVG image support.

I think it was installed by default (or I used the additional plugin-pack from&for XnView).

(PS: I'm counting stuff like that as a form of Addware. Even if XnView has/had no knowledge of CADImage changes/activities.)

*Sitting back and seeing what rolls out.*
(Nothing, as expected.)

I'm not seeing it. The upload.zip has only dependencies. Last version of XnView has no imgur plugin.

I just supposed it, but found no links and a rather qualified posting ... :x

But this topic proves once more: Spammers (bots) take the first post in the forum. Ghisler (TC) made a "spam trap" as first sub-forum in his forum. Maybe this could be done here too?

“long12345” (a/k/a “long123”) is the type of spammer who copies older post by other members. (In this case, he replicated one of Pierre's announcements from 2007.) Days, weeks or even months later, these “sleepers” would edit their posts to spice them up with links.
Today alone, I deleted two dozen of these accounts.

According to our mutual friend Clo (who happened to be a moderator on the Total Commander forums at the time)…
… this isn't as effective as I thought it would be.
