XnView Shell Extension & Unicode

Post by Bryan » Tue Mar 06, 2018 7:54 am

Because of system used characters, there are a number of keyboard characters that can not be used in a file name. However, a good substitute can sometimes be found in the Unicode collection. I use three Unicode characters in a lot of file names. However, if I want to convert one of these files, I have to go to another program which accepts Unicode characters (which is a 'drag'), because such files don't 'activate' the shell extension, in the context menu. Please (pretty please), give support to Unicode.

However, I may be missing something?
