I have several multi-page TIFs (b&w documents), which I would like to compress using the Group 4 compression. However, Xnview seems to compress only the first page of the document, while the other pages are "ignored".
Is there any easier way to compress a multi-page file, than splitting the document into singular pages, converting all the pages and then joining them back together?
Thanks.

Re: compressing TIFs
The XnView Classic and XnView MP browsers both have options for multi-page files to extract the pages, and to create a new multi-page file from those pages after compressing them; you could probably use batch convert to compress the files if there are many of them. [Caveat: I don't have XnView Classic in front of me as I'm on my Linux laptop.]erichuff wrote: Sat Aug 24, 2019 10:40 am I have several multi-page TIFs (b&w documents), which I would like to compress using the Group 4 compression. But there is probably an easier way to do what you need: The batch convert function in XnView MP (or XnConvert, the attractive standalone batch conversion utility) can be configured on the Output tab to convert a multi-page file directly to a new multi-page file, after performing the desired operations, in your case just changing the compression. But study the setting carefully!
