Retention of tagged Checkbox entries
As I have been unable to find any resolution to my question on the net or on the forum I have posted it. I have to deal with large folders of images and need to go through the folder examining each image and selecting particular ones for further action by placing a tick in the check box. Is there anyway of retaining the tick in the checkboxes on exiting the program so that they will still be there when I open it again. It can be very frustrating when I have to break off after a long run of ticking boxes because I am required to exit the program quickly! All that work is lost and has to be redone. Not a normal occurrence, of course, but twice recently I have had to do that because of a fire alarm and the building had to be evacuated immediately. Just thought it would be great if the ticks could be retained somehow. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am using xnView 2.51. Thank you.

@Pierre. Apologies for the delay but have had problems adding an image. Hope it's there this time. By checkboxes I mean the ones overlaid on the thumbnail image in its top left hand corner. See image attached

Nothing between the Img tags above in your code...ColDon wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:47 pm @Pierre. Apologies for the delay but have had problems adding an image. Hope it's there this time. By checkboxes I mean the ones overlaid on the thumbnail image in its top left hand corner. See image attached

And even when there is, intended images do not always display correctly, so it is always best to preview a post.

Re: Retention of tagged Checkbox entries
@Pierre Thank you for your response. I changed the setting to "Never" and when I exited then reloaded my ticked tags were still there. Many thanks.
