Newbie Question: I need to read JPEG Lossless files and re-save them in a more common format without loss. Is this possible with XnView Classic in Windows 10?
The ultimate goal is to import these images into Adobe Lightroom Classic, which will not read Jpeg-LS files. For what its worth, Adobe's DNG format (at least) is capable of holding images with more than 8 bits per color channel. -- jclarkw

Re: Read Jpeg-LS files and Output More Common Format
>>you have a plugin for jpegls<<
Thanks, Pierre -- I'm pretty ignorant about the JPEG-LS image format and contents. What more common format would you recommend for preserving all the resolution and bit depth that exists in these files (whatever that turns out to be)?
And will XnView Classic tell me what is actually in those files? (I'm told that the Windows OS will hid the fact that I'm dealing with lossless files when opening these files, so I don't really know what I'm dealing with...)

if you want a lossless format, you have PNG or TIFF
Pierre.
