the 2.51.5 still does not work with webp

double click a webp image (either static or animated) opens the explorer, not the image (if the 5 libwebp plugins are added)

especially, animated webp image is not animatic in 2.51.5

try the attached two webp images (one static and the other animated)

it works here, please check registry entry for .webp
(animated webp is currently only supported by XnView MP)

the same association setup for all the formats, but other formats such as bmp, jpeg etc. could well be opened by xnview, by double clicking the image documents... do not know why it does not work for webp

anyway, will temporially use irfanview for all the formats for simplicity...

have already started to use imagine, which is only about 1 MB (7z, totally about 3 MB including plugins after decompression). such a lightweight software but supports all the image formats 8)
