I'm having problems with both apps so I thought I'd integrate both in a single thread.
As per the title, both apps have different issues that make them a dealbreaker for me
At first I tried MP, which worked great except for the fact that setting a custom thumbnail size does literally nothing. I tried restarting the app, restarting the pc, nothing. I then started playing around with the options for border size and margin and it worked fine, showed the change in real time. Checking and unchecking the option to show 4 thumbnails for videos and folders also does nothing.
Then I moved to Classic to see if it had the same problem. Setting thumbnail width and height works perfectly, the option to show 4 thumbnails still doesn't work (no option for videos), and for some reason it won't display thumbnails for video files, instead showing the icon.
This is how the file list section appears, as I've read some people had issues with that

Yeah apparently I had to set the thumbnail size option in the view dropdown menu to custom in order to make the changes stick, I didn't see that option at first.xnview wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 8:38 amyou need to 'rebuild thumbnail'fbradcdsc wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:05 pm At first I tried MP, which worked great except for the fact that setting a custom thumbnail size does literally nothing.
